Subscription commerce · Six international markets

AG1

I built the UI and APIs for AG1's subscription service, using Shopify selling plans to power Shop AG1 and the cart. I also helped lead frontend decoupling.

Full case study

Building AG1's subscription service across UI, APIs, and Shopify.

The product problem

Shopify provided subscription primitives, but not the complete product AG1 needed. The service had to handle product and cadence selection, carry those choices through the cart, and translate them into Shopify selling plans.

My role

I worked across product, design, and engineering to deliver the subscription UI and APIs, Shop AG1, the cart, and the supporting Shopify integration.

About Marc

Good frontend work should make sense to the people using it and the people maintaining it.

I'm a Miami-based senior frontend engineer with more than a decade of experience building consumer and enterprise products. I lead frontend work across disciplines while staying hands-on in the code.

In practice, that means getting the behavior right for users and leaving the frontend clear enough for the next engineer to change. I'm especially interested in how AI is changing both the way we build software and the interfaces we build around it.
